International Travel Medicine will help ensure your safety and good health while abroad. We offer vaccines, medications and prescriptions based on Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines.
Your appointment includes a review of your medical history, immunization record and current medications and a discussion of your travel itinerary, accommodations and planned activities to create a customized treatment and prevention plan.
We provide prescriptions and vaccinations for many common travel-related illnesses, including traveler’s diarhhea, malaria prevention, hepatitis, typhoid fever, yellow fever, Japanese encephalitis, polio and rabies.
Travelers with specific medical needs, including chronic disease and pregnant travelers, can ask questions and get advice about potential risks and prevention strategies. We also offer treatment guidelines for common traveler health issues like jet lag, insect and animal bites, motion sickness and altitude sickness.
Visits are available for individuals, couples, families and groups. We suggest scheduling your appointment at least four weeks prior to your trip when possible.
