"Employee Spotlight" is a bi-weekly feature for staff and the community to get the know the individuals that make Wentworth-Douglass Hospital a comfortable place for patients, and a great place to work for employees. This week we shine the spotlight on: Mary Beth Schlieder.
RN
21 years
I work with many “amazings” on 3 West (medical /telemetry floor). Together we connect with patients and one another, and journey alongside through illness. We care for patients with cardiac and respiratory illness. They are chronically ill and we see them like relatives from time to time. We are eager to achieve the patient’s wellness, but lovingly prepare and nurture delicately, those who’s journey must end.
Never thought of anywhere else, I was born here, this is my hospital!
Camaraderie, inclusion.

“You’ve got to want it; we are in it to win it!”
Never knowing what’s coming next and trusting we can do it.
