PLEASE NOTE: The Women & Children's Center is limiting visitors to two support people during labor & delivery and two caregivers for pediatric patients. Postpartum families can have two additional visitors a time during visiting hours 11am -8pm. Visitors will be screened for signs of respiratory illness and not allowed in if they are sick.

Pediatric Specialty Services through our affiliation with Mass General for Children
Wentworth-Douglass Hospital benefits from an affiliation with Mass General for Children to provide specialty outpatient services to children through our Mass General for Children at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital clinic.
Your Child's Stay
Our inpatient area serves more than 300 children and families each year. You are encouraged to stay with your child during the entire visit. Amenities include open visiting hours, private patient rooms with sleeping couches, a security system, free Wi-Fi and meals available for parents/caregivers.
Our nursing staff is skilled in the care of pediatric patients. Registered nurses have training in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).

Special Care Nursery
Also located on the Women & Children's unit, the Hannaford Special Care Nursery is an area designed to care for newborn infants with significant medical needs, such as prematurity.
