DOVER, NH – Wentworth-Douglass Hospital Rehabilitation Services has opened a new outpatient physical therapy clinic on the first floor of The Works Family Health and Fitness Center in Somersworth.
Physical Therapy at The Works offers one-to-one care with licensed therapists for the comprehensive treatment of pain and muscular conditions along with specialized care in general orthopedic, sports, spine and joint replacement rehabilitation. The care team at this location brings a unique focus on the management of spinal conditions through manual therapy, dry needling, and therapeutic exercise.
This location inside The Works, Wentworth-Douglass Hospital’s multipurpose health and fitness center, allows the physical therapists to easily incorporate aquatic therapy and exercise support as part of a patient’s treatment. Patients do not have to be a Works member to take advantage of this service location.
Wentworth-Douglass Rehabilitation Services offers comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, plus pulmonary, cancer, cardiac and neurological rehabilitation programs, and more.
